The blogs were really, really fun. They did improve reading and writing skills. Next year I think you should find more exciting things for us to write about. I don't like writing a blog for articles.

I think that there should be a 24-hour wait for abortions because some people might make the decision recklessly. I also think that transgender people should be allowed to go into their preferred bathroom. I don't think that they should be barred from the bathroom that they choose to be in. I think that towns should decide about their gun carrying laws.

Summary of the Story

The leopard and the Ethiopian used to hunt all of the animals, and they blended in very well with the earth. All of the animals moved to the forest, so the Ethiopian and the leopard asked the Baboon where all of the animals went. They managed to catch some prey but they couldn't see them because they blended in. They realized that the animals looked different then they used to. The Ethiopian turned his skin blue and black. The Ethiopian put black on his finger tips and he put spots all over the leopard. Then they went into the forest to hunt with their new skin.

Do you think Mainehealth should pay the taxes???

I think that Mainehealth should pay the taxes. They should pay taxes if they don't it will put more pressure on other tax payers. I don't think that anyone should be exempt from taxes because everyone should have to pay.

I think that we should try to help Libya but I think we should do it from a distance. I believe that we should leave other cousins alone.

Macho Man was driving around 9:00 a.m. and he lost control of his Jeep Wrangler and went over the median and then he crashed into a tree. The woman in the car with him had some injuries.

What role does fate play in Romeo and Juliet?

Fate plays a very important role. The whole play is about fate and it effects everybody. Romeo and Juliet's meeting was because of fate.

How do you think the play is going to end?

In the play Romeo and Juliet are going to die. They are going to die because the play is a tragedy, and in the beginning of the play it says they are going to die. Romeo is going to die and then Juliet is going to kill herself.

Who is your favorite character in Romeo and Juliet?

My favorite character in Romeo and Juliet is Benvolio. I chose Benvolio because he seems nice and he seems peaceful. He isn't very aggressive, like Tybalt, and he tries to stop fights.

What are your first impressions of reading Shakespeare?

My first impression of Shakespeare is that it's very interesting. I like it but, it's hard to understand because of the way he writes it. The way he writes it is confusing because some if the words that we use today, don't have the same meaning as back then.

Should colleges focus on overall academic performance?

Colleges should focus on overall academic performance, rather than just they SAT's. They should take the SAT's into consideration, but some students cannot handle standardized tests. Some students may be really, really smart but are just not good at taking tests.

How do you feel about Osama Bin Ladin's death?

I think that it is good that Osama Bin Ladin cannot do anymore terrible things. But, I also believe that no one deserves to die, no matter who they are. I'm glad that people are happy about him being dead, but they should not do awful things like graffiti to Muslim people. I believe that people can celebrate as long as they are not harming anyone or making them feel unsafe.

What is your favorite warm weather activity?

My favorite warm weather activity is swimming. I started doing this when I was very young. I love swimming because I love being in the water.

How did the renassiance influence Shakespeare's work?

He could have the characters in his plays have more feelings. Any monarchs in his plays could make mistakes and could be more "human". He also used Greek and Roman texts in his plays.

Some of the sentences are written in subject, verb, subject form. Shakespeare shortens words for dramatic affect. Some of the words that Shakespeare used are made up, not used today or they are words we use now that mean something different.

Over vacation I'm going to recuperate. I'm going to exercise my leg and go outside. I'm also going to visit my grandparents.

I think that Shakespeare did write his own plays. I believe this because there is no real, solid evidence that he didn't. Also, just because he didn't go to a university doesn't mean that he is illiterate.

Biography

William Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1562. He died April 23, 1616. His father made gloves and traded farm things. His mother was a wealthy landowner. When he was 18 he married a woman named Ann Hathaway, and they had three children named Susanna, Judith and Hamnet. His first play was called The Comedy of Errors He became an actor with the Lord Chamberlain's men.

When they cut the budget they believed that they would be able to keep more money rather than have to pay people their retirement funds. I do not believe that the changes are good ideas because the retired people are very vulnerable.

It is called a "international humanitarian mission" because the U.S. doesn't want it portrayed as an offensive in another Muslim country.They don't want to make it seem like they are trying to take control of the country.

How much involvement should the United Nation's Have?

I think that the United Nations should just keep the No-Air Zone. I don't think they should become any more involved unless it is absolutely necessary. They should get involved though if it becomes really, really dangerous to be there.

France, the United States and Great Britain attacked Libyan military targets. The fighting began because Libyan rebels called for international help, because the Libyan government was attacking them.

Does the punishment fit the crime?

I think that he should have gone to a special hospital, instead of being sent to jail for that long. I think that because he had a mental illness and he was dealing with trauma. He pleaded guilty and he wrote a letter to apologize. Also, the mother of the girl said she forgave him. I think he should be able to have another chance.

New Culture Definition

The meaning has changed a lot for me. I used to not know what it meant. Now I know it means a lot of things. It means what people live in or what they act like.

Benefit Cuts

I think Governor Lepage should not cut the budget. I don't think that it's fair that workers will have to pay 100 percent of their retirement if they retire before age 65. I also don't think its fair to take two percent more in taxes.

Culture Change

If I moved to a new country I would refuse to change my the way I act with the people around me. I wouldn't start acting different just because the other people around act differently. I would change what I eat and probably what I wear.

Assimilation

I think we should have cultural pluralism. I believe this because I think everyone should be able to practice their own religion, wear the kind of clothing they want to and not have to be afraid to say they are different.

Texting While Driving

I think that there should be a law against texting while driving. I think that people should get their license taken away temporarily of they break the law. It is really dangerous for yourself and for others.

I think he should get war crimes because he tortured people. I know that he asked what exactly would be torture but he shouldn't have done any of it because it was illegal.

What English Class?

Next year I would like to be in Honors English 10. I would like to be in Honors English 10 because I love English and I want to take a honors class.

I think that it would be worse to keep the feelings inside. If you keep the feelings inside you will never be able to get across what you really need or what you really want.

Growing up American

The purpose of this article is to pull together studies about children's immigrant experiences. Something different about immigrants in the early 1900's and the late 1900's is that there are a lot more immigrants in the late 1900's and in the late 1900's they are more diverse. Also, 15% of the population in the 1900's are immigrants or immigrant's children. Contemporary immigrants will represent a crucial point in the future of the United State's society because they have bits of both worlds that they are holding onto, so they will have ideas from two different places. It is important to study second generation immigrants because it is good to see how they have adapted to be living with two different cultures.

Why do people immigrate to the United States???

People move to the United States for many reasons. One reason is for a better education. Also, they move for a better future. People believe that the United States is a better country so they come to get more money, education and to have a good future.

Challenges

The teens have trouble dealing with trying to hold onto heritage in a completely different culture. They also have trouble when their parents are super strict and they can't behave like other children. Those are some challenges teens have.

Funny in Farsi

Funny in Farsi is a very good book. I think it is funny and educational. I want to know more about her husband the Frenchmen. I don't really have any questions. The book is small but it took me a while to read because of the content.

My holiday

My holiday would be Chocolate Appreciation Day. It woud be this because I love chocolate and it is amazing. On that day all chocolate would be free and you could eat as much as you want.

School

I want to go to college after highschool. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do specifically though. I will have to bring my grades up so I can get into a college that I want to go to.

Go home early

We should go home early today. We should go home early because the people who have to walk home are going to have a hard time. When I was walking outside coming here from band class, I saw a bunch of people slip and one person actually fell. Also, it is going to be dangerous driving home because the roads will be slippery. That is why we should go home.

American Culture

In America people joke around a lot so don't take everything seriously. You have to listen to the teachers but if you don't like something they do you can talk to them about it in private. People here have all different types of personalities so be prepared for anything.

Lobster

I think that people should not go for the sustainable label. I don't think that people in Maine should have to do things for a foreign place. It wouldn't really change Maine culture.

Ethnicity is your ethnic background. It is what group of people are your ancestors. Culture is how people live.

What is Culture?

Culture is the habits of a group of living things. In school my friends laugh a lot so that would be the habit of a group of human beings. Culture is also the ways of life of a group of people. My family tries to eat healthy food and that is our way of life. Culture is habits and the way of life of a group of people.
